Version 0.1
I had limited time when I joined this game jam, so I decided to go solo and not use some of that time in coordinating with a group. Writing the game took about 8 hours, spilt into three days. I spent a similar time writing down ideas into OneNote whenever I had a chance. Finding a cover picture and making the layout took an hour or two at maximum. I wish to have more images and a better layout for the next version.
There are too many rules in this version, I'm sure about that. I added some to test ideas I'd had befor for othe Mark of the Odd game projects I have and some I created for this one. I want to prune down the rules to a minimum, but to do that the game needs testing to see what works and is used in play. Instead of rules, i'd like to have more content for the random generator tables and some example missions, sites, entities and artifacts. In its current state the game lacks a random generator for artifacts. I'd use the one in QZ if I needed one for a playtest.
What I'm also thinking about (for other projects than this too) is a more systematized way to create weapon and vehicle stats. Something that allows easily adding more of those.
Some in-world text would also be nice, a "Primer for partners (subcontractors)", lab notes and some internal TEC reports.
